Update... finally

Okay... I know it's been a while! Life has been crazy lately :)

I (Faithe) am finishing my Master's. Friday will be the last day of my last class. Yippeee! Nathan changed jobs to the Fernbank Science Center in October which means he is now a 12-month employee... no more summers off! He still loves his job and wouldn't trade it for anything. The change has kept us hopping and trying to find time for Nathan and Faithe. We have learned to say "no" to some things in order to preserve our Friday night dates :)

We have an eventful summer planned with a trip to Panama next week and then on to Indiana the third week of July. We will have a great time visiting our friend in Panama and our family in Indiana.

Last week we attended the National Technology Convention in San Antonio, TX. Nathan presented at the conference. The highlight of the trip happened at the airport on our way home. We were able to volunteer to be bumped four times in two days which gave us a nice sum of Delta bucks to pay for our next several flights. We had a great time :) They put us up in the hotel for two nights and gave us several meal vouchers.

Our nieces (Rebekah and Sarah) and our goddaughter (Ashlyn) are all growing up very quickly. My brother and his wife and the girls spent the weekend with us a couple of weekends ago. The girls were so much fun :)

My mom and dad drove down for my graduation from Central Michigan University. I was able to walk in the graduation in June. I was so glad they came. It meant a lot to me!

We have a new godson. His name is William Gerald. He is the son of our friends David and MaryLou. William is a twin. His sister Marceline is a cutie too! They also have an older brother, David Leonard, who is very sweet and full of energy. We get to babysit on occasion.

Nathan's brother and his wife are now pregnant so pretty soon will have another little niece or nephew. We are very excited and Nathan is already finding little outfits and toys for the baby!
